At Midwest Family Care, we bring to you the highest quality in family care. Our partnership with Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital provides us with over 25 years experience in delivering innovative and personalized care.

Our group of physicians and mid-level practitioners work as a team to provide you focused care specializing in Primary care, Prevention and Disease Management ensuring that you will receive the most comprehensive care on each and every visit.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If extended hours are needed, these can be scheduled upon request.

Mark Milone, MD

After graduating from Creighton University School of Medicine, completing a residency in Internal Medicine, serving as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine at Creighton University Medical Center and having been a principal in a private practice working as a board certified internal medicine specialist, Mark went back to school to complete fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Since 2004, he has been practicing as a board certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist.

Jennifer Nelson, DO

Born and raised in rural Winner, native South Dakotan Jennifer Nelson, DO, graduated from the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in 2001, completed a Family Medicine Residency in the Sioux Falls Family Medicine Residency Program in 2004 and worked in private practice for nine years. Her certifications include: ATLS, PALS and ACLS with special interests in preventative care for all ages, pediatrics and women’s care, travel medicine and medical missions.

Gina Ditta-Donahue, CNP

Gina graduated from Rockford College in 1992 with a BA in biology. She then completed her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Rush University in 1994. She worked for two years at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, then moved to Los Angeles where she worked for six years at the University of California Medical Center. She finally returned to South Dakota where she has worked as a registered nurse in various capacities for the last 13 years, and ultimately completed her Master’s in nursing, family nurse practitioner through Clarkson College in Omaha, NE.

Cameron Murphy, MD

Cameron Murphy, MD

A rural Nebraska native, Dr. Murphy loves the Midwest. He spent more than eight years working on a farm while growing up and going through school. He completed his medical school training at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in 2009. He completed a family medicine residency in Kansas City, MO, in 2012 where he served as chief resident. For the past three years he has been in private practice with an emphasis on advanced acute care and sports medicine injuries.

Chelsea Van Dyke, PA-C

Chelsea Van Dyke, PA-C

Born and raised in Aberdeen, SD, Chelsea completed her Master’s in physician assistant medicine at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. After graduation, she returned to Midwest life landing her in Sioux Falls. She also has an undergraduate degree in athletic training from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She continues to be drawn to musculoskeletal injuries as well as woman’s health and family practice.

Kim Wieking, PT

Kim Wieking, PT

Kim hails from Sioux Falls and joined the Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital team in 2014. After graduating from the University of Iowa Physical Therapy program, Kim worked in hospital-based clinics and private practice. His experiences have culminated in his current focus at WorkFORCE Occupational and Medical Services, where it is his vision to provide excellent care and service to clients and employees.
