Eating & Lodging
We encourage caregivers to remain on-site during surgery because the surgeon, anesthesiologist, or nurse may need to consult with you. If you do need to leave the family waiting area, please inform the front desk when you leave and be prepared to provide contact information.
OTHER HELPFUL INFORMATION
Telephones in the waiting area are available for you and your caregiver's use. You also have the availability to use your cellular phone in your suite.
Restrooms and water fountains are available. Ask the front desk staff and they can provide directions.
Coffee and rolls are available in our waiting room for your caregivers.
Vending and soda machines are available in the waiting area.
There are a number of fast-food and sitdown restaurants in the area. Please consult with the front desk staff and they would be happy to provide recommendations and directions.
Some family members prefer to bring their own snacks and beverages.
If the person having surgery is a minor, we do ask that one parent remain in the building the entire time.
